I have been our Director of Music Ministries since 1997. I am currently tasked with music preparation for our 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM worship services. I help plan the service outlines in consultation with the pastors. Then I gather the music and the musical forces for these services. I direct the Adult Choir (for our 8:00 service) and occasionally round up a men's choir, handbell choir or various groups of instrumentalists or vocalists to enrich our worship. I play organ and piano for many of our services. I work with our other organist, Glenda Bock and our Children’s Choir director Vivian Kesar as they prepare music for worship. I often help out with VBS music and Preschool music. You'll see my monthly updates on music ministry in our Messenger newsletter.

I am married to Vivian and we have 4 children, Natalie, Ethan, Avery and Jonah. Vivian and I both come from Michigan (although from opposite sides of the state) and have family still there. We both attended Concordia College in Ann Arbor Michigan. I taught high school choirs and religion in Milwaukee and Queens, New York before coming to Omaha. My theme verse for ministry is Psalm 119:54 Your decrees are the theme of my song, wherever I lodge.

I was born near Saginaw, Michigan where I was blessed to attend Lutheran schools for my grade school, high school, and college years. After attending Concordia University, River Forest, IL for three years, I graduated from Concordia College in Ann Arbor, MI with a Lutheran Teaching Diploma and Education degree. I have taught grades 3-8 in various Lutheran schools including St. Paul, Hamlin, NY; Holy Ghost in Monroe, MI; and Trinity Lutheran in Traverse City, MI. My husband, Kevin, and I have been married since 1994 and we have 2 sons, Christian and Caleb. My family and I moved to Omaha in June of 2013 and I have been working as a Teacher Aide for Concordia Academy. I was hired by St. Mark in February of 2015 to work as the Administrative Assistant. I continue to work for Concordia Academy in the afternoons. God has blessed my family and me in so many wonderful ways and He continues to bless us through my position at St. Mark. I pray that I may be a blessing to you and your family as well.
